Hi, I’m Lucrezia — and I’m in the middle of the biggest adventure of my life!
For the past eight years I’ve worked in events management across London — planning conferences for hundreds of people, managing budgets, juggling suppliers, and making sure everything runs perfectly on the day. I’ve loved the work. But somewhere along the way, I started to wonder if the city I’d called home for a decade was really where I was supposed to be.
London is extraordinary. There is always something happening, always somewhere to go. But it’s also a city that runs on relentless pace, where the focus is overwhelmingly on work and productivity, and where genuine human connection can sometimes feel surprisingly hard to find. After ten years, I started asking myself a question I couldn’t ignore: is this it?
The honest answer was no. Not because anything was wrong — but because I felt a pull towards something different. Warmer. Slower. More connected to people and places rather than schedules and spreadsheets.
I’ve travelled extensively over the years — across Europe, North Africa, the Americas and Asia — and travel has always been where I feel most like myself. Most recently I visited Morocco twice, and something clicked. The warmth of the people, the pace of life, the growing energy of a country finding its place in the world. I felt, unexpectedly, at home.
So I made a decision. I’m going to build a life that lets me work from anywhere — and I’m starting by learning everything I need to know to make that possible.
That’s what this site is about.
Remote Ready Tools is my honest, ongoing guide to the tools, software and resources that make remote work actually work. I’m building this in real time — learning as I go, testing things myself, and sharing what works and what doesn’t. Everything you read here comes from genuine research and real experience, not recycled listicles.
